Ancient umbrella pines shade extensive lawns and lofty poplar and cypress trees, while ornamental borders exude the essence of Tuscany with their heady scent of lavender and rosemary. At ‘Villa Valle,’ leisurely days are focussed around al-fresco living, with its impressive swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sun lounge linking the grand villa with the smaller ‘hayloft’ cottage. An outdoor kitchen features a large BBQ, two fridges, a shaded pavilion, and a dining terrace.
Villa Valle’ sleeps up to 13 guests and features a beautifully restored Tuscan villa and its adjacent hayloft cottage, which offer the perfect setting for family and friends. The main villa provides abundant shared spaces for socializing yet with many more secluded areas for working, reading or simply relaxing.
Both buildings include architectural details such as terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings and are furnished with original antiques, Italian textiles, and marble bathrooms. ‘Villa Valle’ boasts an elegant games room with a billiard table and a professionally equipped kitchen- dining room, perfect for entertaining. ‘Villa Valle’ is just 30 minutes from Pisa and is set within the prestigious Villa Saletta country estate, famous for its excellent wines and delicious olive oil. The estate offers guests many authentic activities, including wine tastings, tours of the ancient medieval Borgo and romantic sunset picnics overlooking the vineyards.
Further adding to the authentic Tuscan experience, guests are welcomed with a gourmet hamper containing Villa Saletta Rose, Spumante and Chianti DOCG wines signed by the head winemaker David Landini, 0km EVO olive oil and local honey. Also included are fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit, artisan pasta, sauce, fresh eggs, cheese, and typical Tuscan cold cuts.
